Community BBQ and Preparedness Fair
May is National Wildfire Awareness Month, and there’s never been a more critical time for communities like ours to prepare for the possibility of wildfire.
This free, family-friendly event will bring together first responder agencies, community partners and professionals with residents to meet informally, enjoy a barbecue lunch (cooked by Encinitas firefighters), inspect firefighting equipment and raise awareness of the wildfire challenges Olivenhain faces. Opportunity drawing.
Cosponsored by the Encinitas Fire Department and Olivenhain Town Council.
Last Chance Survival Simulation Workshop Session II
The Last Chance Survival Simulation Workshop was developed to empower residents in high-risk, wildfire prone communities, to prepare for evacuation and potential wildfire entrapments.
