Community Preparedness Workshop
The Olivenhain Fire Safe Council and Olivenhain Town Council will jointly present a community wildfire preparedness workshop featuring speakers from the Encinitas Fire Department, San Diego County Sheriff’s Department and San Diego Humane Society. (There will be ample time for Q&A so you can get your questions answered.) The workshop will be held at the Meeting Hall, as well as streamed for those who prefer to watch from home. RSVPs are appreciated so we have a head count for refreshments. Click here for RSVP and streaming links.
Neighborhood Ambassador Meeting
This meeting will feature Thomas Shoots of CAL-FIRE and San Diego County Fire, talking about Firewise USA, and how it can benefit Olivenhain. All are welcome.
Neighborhood Ambassador Meeting
Come meet the current ambassadors and learn more about what to expect if you volunteer to be the ambassador for your own neighborhood. First of three planned meetings. Please RSVP if you're not already an ambassador and would like to attend, so we have a head count for refreshments.

Community BBQ and Preparedness Fair
May is National Wildfire Awareness Month, and there’s never been a more critical time for communities like ours to prepare for the possibility of wildfire.
This free, family-friendly event will bring together first responder agencies, community partners and professionals with residents to meet informally, enjoy a barbecue lunch (cooked by Encinitas firefighters), inspect firefighting equipment and raise awareness of the wildfire challenges Olivenhain faces. Opportunity drawing.
Cosponsored by the Encinitas Fire Department and Olivenhain Town Council.
