Programs
As a volunteer organization dedicated to promoting fire safety throughout Olivenhain, we are always seeking meaningful ways to engage with residents, organizations and agencies to achieve our goals.
As time goes on and we expand and mature as an organization, we will be adding various programs and initiatives, but currently we are pursuing the following:
Outreach and education
Educating residents about ways to make their homes and properties more fire safe is our primary objective, and we also connect residents to resources that can help them “harden” their homes against fire. Wherever possible, we participate in events to spread the word and make this important information readily available.
Val Sereno/Escondido Creek
With Escondido Creek running through our community, we will be exploring partnerships with local agencies and organizations that promote the well-being of this important watershed and its impact on the surrounding neighborhoods, with an eye toward fire safety.
